Robust IPTABLES Firewall
Using IPTABLES effectivly
Linux has a wonderful set of network filter utilities namely IPTABLES. You can construct a simple and robust firewall in a matter of a couple hours. you will need to compile IPTABELS and its various options in the kernel. Including the IPMASQ features if you are going to be doing NAT (Network Address Translation). I have included a comprehensive firewall below that is heavily commented so you can add and remove what ever you see fit. Click (read more) for the script.
